http://www.someonelikesyou.com/ is a flawed concept.

The theory is that you go to the website, and enter the email addresses of a list of people you like. The site then emails these people, saying that someone likes them. The likee is then supposed to go to the website, create an account, and fill in a list of people they like. If there is a match, the website tells you who it is that likes you.

The problem is that people are curious. They want to find out who likes them, whether or not they like them back. So, they fill in a list of email addresses of everyone they know, and probably several they don't.

This generates a number of untrue "Someone Likes You" letters. The recipients of these letters (true or untrue) repeat the process, generating even more letters of questionable truthfulness, until you have an entire web of people who don't actual like eachother.

Therefor, logic leads me to believe that it is intended mainly as an address-gathering site, or some other nefarious purpose.
