Why [livejournal.com profile] beebgirl?

We called Astrid "babe". Leif misprounced this as "beeb". It caught on, and now we call her Beeb as often as anything.

Besides, Astrid is a little tough to shorten into a nickname.

Asti Spumanti -> Spumanti

Similar to how I got to calling your brother Sully.
