When I'm bored and should be doing something more productive, I often read my friendsfriends page.

It's fun playing the small world game. I'll see an interesting post, check their userinfo to see how I'm connected to them, and discover that they're friends with two of my friends, who I know from two unrelated contexts. Or that they're friends with both a friend of mine and someone I recognize as a friend of another friend - again, someone I know in an unrelated context.

It shouldn't surprise me. A good portion of my friends fit a certain profile and/or live within about 150 miles of me (or did at some point in the past), so it's pretty much inevitable that there's some overlap. It's just fun to finding out exactly where that overlap is :)

The Odd Saga of Meredith and Meredith.

I stumbled upon this story randomly in jrittenhouse's journal while reading my friendsfriends page several weeks ago. Bizarre, but in a good way.

Now I will go shower while Leif is still asleep.
